Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Christopher Donoso began dancing at the age of 15 trying out a variety of different styles. Majoring in dance in high school and traveling to New York City on a weekly basis, he took classes ranging from ballet, modern, hip hop, jazz funk, popping, b boy, and locking. Upon entering college he joined FLASH Dance Troupe and performed several hip hop pieces. In 2013 he began to focus his craft in locking under the guidance of Alan Watson, and Brian Perez. Under their guidance, he’s been mastering the basics of locking with a heavy focus on freestyle. Since then he’s entered numerous locking competition and has taught locking pieces on his college campus.
